hairy day
well, woke up at a damn pathetic time of 830 (realised we dota'ed till 3 last nite) to go to school for the orientation filming. hmmm i would not have been sooo upset if xiuhui din tell me that i was not needed today!!! apparently my shaman (rastha!!) costume is not ready and that i have to wait till the nxt time to film with the next bunch of comm members who couldnt make it today. and since i was already there, i guess she had a good time torturing me by making me an 'extra' cast. i gotta admit she and chuanie did a good job lar.. cept i was made to do silly things .. hmm but im not the only one lar, all of us looked really silly
then went to ses and almost fell asleep there. subsequently went to acjc to wait for wee lock the swimming instructor to join us for dinner. it was so cool going back after soo long, we just walked around the sports complexed, chilled out at the cafereria's sofa (which we assumed was donated, cos it looked quite buang, and the coffee table is definitely from our favourite swedish furniture store).
yupps, then we headed down to marina square for dinner, i tell you, that place is sooo totally revamped, we stepped out from the carpark and the first thing we saw was like restaurant looking, it was damn nice (this place called center stage, which is a conglomerate of restaurants with the center portion being like a 'shared' place) totally recommended for guys to bring chick-a-dees (as mark puts it) , cos they have this jazz piece in the middle (by jazz piece, i mean a jazz band). yupps, only problem was we were a bunch of 5 guys in a damn nice setting, but ok lar shan't complain.
nxt up was harry's @ esplanade, its like super uber damn long since we went there to chill. standard order was the green room which is napkin's number 1 harry's drink. yupps, paul p(ok the p stands for a name i dunno how to spell, but it is pronounced as poon-nai-door-rai). fantastic sets, he played a jamaican version of hotel california which is damn funny, and damn awesome. but the problem with him is that his set is damn short and his break is damn long! plus there was this old lady who was dancing by herself while he was playing, i mean i really R.E.S.P.E.C.T her self confidence and such lar, but it was rather distracting.. short of saying she was mad, but she came across as abit eccentric.
so that was my day for today.. a long one.. and guess what?? we din play dota today!! great achievement!! yupps, gaming resumes tmr!! (forgot to mentioned lock and jerm had this ice cream called gaming warmonger which i thought would give them the urge to play dota). muahahaha...
