our day at the hospice
twas the night of christmas'03, our cell decided to go down to breko's hospice down in holland to do some charity work. we spend most of our time with this boy called kairen, whom calls himself spas-boy. we asked the doctors what he was suffering from, and their dianosis is of this rare disease called yuenemia. puzzled we enquired more.
apparently, the disease is super rare, and it hits like 10 in 4 million, and can only be found in singapore. previous cases suggests that the disease originated from a small little village called dover crescent. spas-boy's was the first to be found in the north area. symptoms of the disease includes carrying a baseball bat around, or a little mini rugby ball that might cause ur sony ericsson t610 to drop to the floor. other symptoms include mixing mambo music till the late hours in the night. also, patients have a tendency to use your handphones to message your other friends, so a word of caution, do not leave your handphones unattended in the prescence of sufferers of yuenemia, or you've got lots of explainations to do to ur friends. the last but not harmful symptom is that patients tend to play mini golf in occasions like dance nights, sermons and before a movie starts, i guess this is juz distracting.
some common myths about the disease is that it is contagious and only affects rjc students. we found that to some extend it is contagious, but only so if there is prolong exposure to a strange green turtle like creature called yuen. (who's good friend is the scott-man ronald mcdonalds).and it does not only affect rjc students, althought studies have found that rjc students are less immune to this disease. actually most of the patients recorded came from the acs/fairfield family.

anyway the night ended up pretty well, with very few incidents happening. only one handphone dropped that night and another patient whom they called timmy (who likes the phrases "welcome to hunan" and "im gonna kill u") added some festive cheer by turning up in a santa clause hat. the occasion was also graced by the very big hearted head of the hospice whom staffs and patients refer to as lao pok.
