post party review
the lowdown: a heineken green room session invite to u.n.k.l.e at velvet. nite out with the guys, gals and most beautiful people who lurves that green bottle of fizz. well ntu's cac (cultural activity club) was having their bash nxt door over at zouk, and apparently anchor (yux) was having an event with mc yen of l.m.f taking the decks at phuture. so jiak kim street probably contained more people than a local s-leauge game last night. (or is this always the case??)
the good:
-the duo played "in a state" 3 times
-they dished out underworld's born slippery (hope i got tis correct)
-they then spun everybody's favourite tune, clocks!! by coldplay
-the climax gotta be when they mixed u2's "where the streets have no name"
-managed to visit zouk for awhile, got there juz when they started "summer rain" and "mony mony"
-the bottle of green fizz was flowing.. and all around!!! lovely!!
the bad:
-the duo played "in a state" 3 times
-the place was freakin packed..
-where were our people??!! didnt see them for a majority of the nite
-lastly, indie boy wasnt there.. pity doode, but we'll party harder nxt time!!
bottom line:me thoughts unkle was trip hop, fortunately they amused us with a good mix last nite.. nxt up, heineken music elevation 245 feat jazzanova, but won't be able to make it.. aniwei go get ur heiny memberships today!!!
now playing: sasha, global underground... forgotten how good ol trance is like..whee!!!
