a lil excitement in our boring town
well apparently it seems like 3 armed robbers have landed on tekong. click here to read more bout it. few things run through my head. firstly, they landed on an island with 5000 millitary personnel, regardless if their fully trained or not. of cos one could argue that the island is so big and hugely forested, probably take long time to find them.but ultimately they'll be cornered right?? also, i wonder if they'll stumble into sispec or bmt for a canteen break.. haha!! but lastly, my imagination started to run wild!! i was just wondering if i would be activated had i still been in the force. i guess its abit scary yet exciting, i mean 2 and a half years of training, at least i get to do something so real, but then again, i'll probably shit my pants if i get into a fire fight. news reports claims reconnaissance troops were deployed too.. hooray!! thumbs up for brcs!!(sorry, army pride doesnt mean shit to anybody now.. haha). oh ian made a good point about singapore deploying 700 men to find 3 ppl.. but ian i think with 30000 people doing nothing in camps all over the island anyway, whats 700?? haha, they should have deployed everybody, then make them form one straight line shoulder to shoulder and comb the area huh
in other interesting news: brian and morg, i found skelter!! but its in an unknown language.. probably chinese or something.. haha!
