the demise of napkin man

fans of the napkin man: the nanyang island saga vol 1 must have been wondering what on earth happened to the beloved superhero? well in volume 2, we find him fighting the battle of the century with his most feared nemisis dr f.y.p who dwells in the deepest and darkest depths of nanyang island.



napkin man was seriously wounded by dr f.y.p when the latter used his ultimate finishing move, due on 19th march fireball. thankfully for the creature called gong xi fa cai, napkin man was able to escape and retreat back to his shack on the costal area. with that fatal blow, napkin man was not able to use his super powers for awhile, and hence rendered useless. the only thing he could do everyday was to mingle with the natives of nanyang island, often having a game of table tennis or badminton with them. also he is heavily involved in the native paganistic worship ritual of defending the ancients.
