right, so i was walking pass the canteen and you know those booths they set up to promote safe sex and stuffs?? so anyway apple (yes the i-mac/book/pod ppl and not the fruit company) was setting up a booth there too. seriously i don't know what's the purpose, because there's no real explaination from the booth man-ners whatsoever. i juz read "drop your contacts and stand a chance to win a powerbook". hence im thinking to myself : damn i should have worn my contact lenses, but muz drop it leh, abit dirty
yeap, so i enquired how can i actually take part in the contest, and the unfriendly booth man-ner say drop name card ,wait a minute, i still have my mech camp name cards, i wonder if i could use them, or muz i be plo-fresh-shen-er to be eligible (i am eligible by the way, though just not cleo top 50 material)
yupps, so the booth man-ner shoved a brochure into my hands, and i was reading it on the way back. so here's what it roughly says:

2. Save $350 when you get an iPod
-new iPod 20gb with click wheel. usual $548 NOW $198

so you see, what really caught my eye was how low the price of the iPod is. and im wondering isit applicable only if i bought the laptops? well, if it isn't then im really pondering whether i should get it, and if so, which one???!! hence do drop a message to tell me if i should get it at all, as the offer only lasts till 15 August!! (but i really have a hunch i need to buy the i book.. anybody wants to get an i book so that i can get the iPod??)
well if it isn't enough, all this while there's this girl (she abit gong gong dai dai one) that's at the booth thats handing out like free can drinks lar. so she was forcing the cans to me while i was checking out the promotion. and when i asked her about the lucky draw thingy, her reply was "i dunno, but u want free drink??", i almost went crazy, and she decided to be nice or rather, forceful and gave me 3 instead of 1 can. so all ntu students out there, quick, if u want free can drinks, go to the apple booth NOW!!!
