well the increase in gst never really bothered me for the first ten days until now.. my normal fishball noodles outside still cost me $2.50 or $3.00 without any difference.. my regular kopitiam coffee still costs me $0.70.. prices at restaurants never really mattered as i always don't bother to look at the +++ charges, so yeah i wouldn't have noticed the increase...
but tonight!! tonight when i stepped into zouk (well got invites, so don't matter) and ordered beer.. it cost $10.50, when i ordered rum and coke after that, it cost $10.50.. i remembered something was obviously wrong!! i use to produce a red note with no coins!! but tonite, i was forced to scavenge for loose change... this is horrendous!! the gst has taken over our lives!!! and no ers is going to offset it.. will it come to a point where my coffee actually cost $0.735?? are they coming up with new coin denominations that reads to the thousandth?? tremble ppl!! tremble in fear!!!
